Large, round, flattened. Good eating. Non-astringent. Bears as a young tree and is a heavy producer. Does not have male flowers, so it will not have seeds unless planted with other varieties.
Very large and oblong with a rather short point. Largest and best cooking quality. Tree is vigorous, upright and shapely. Astringent.
1.5 inches long, round-plump. Unlike Lang, can be picked yellow-green and will finish ripening off the tree to wrinkled, mahogany color. More arched branching structure than Lang.
Medium to large. Yellow, melting flesh. Semi-clingstone. Sweet. Self-pollinating. One of the first to ripen each year. (400 hours).
Ripens: Early May
Extra large. Flesh is a rich, red color, with a sharp, juicy flavor. Most well known of the pomegranates. Shrub or tree to 18ft.
